Fire Retardant Conveyor Belting – FR Rubber

Fire retardant conveyor belting is designed for the service conditions of the mining industry. Suitable for mining, power plants, electric utilities, and coal cleaning plants. PRODUCT RANGE DETAILS:

FR-1 grade is specially compounded rubber over rubber for the underground operation requiring fire resistance, static conductivity. The important characteristic is self-extinguishable cover rubber.

FR-2 grade is an SBR fire retardant cover rubber meeting FR standards. It provides a high resistance to wear and cold temperatures.

Covers – FRAS PVC (Up to 3.0 mm)
Special Covers – On offer for abrasion, heat and oil resistance
Roll Length – As required by customer subject to shipment restrictions by road and sea
Color – Black. However, special colored PVC covers can be made on request
Special Weave Constructions – load impact bearing, high-tear, and rip resistant

2. Other physical properties
1) Both top and bottom cover thickness >= 0.8mm
2) The adhesion strength between PVG and carcass >= 3.15N/mm
3) PVG cover abrasion loss <= 0.7cm³/1.61Km.
3. Safety data
1) Belt’s surface resistance <= 3 x 10⁸ omega
2) Drum friction properties: the drum surface temperature <= 325°C and requirement no flame or burning without flame.
3) Ethanol burner flame property: the average burning time with rubber <= 3s without rubber <= 5s
4) Lane propane burner flame property: No burning section remaining length >= 250mm.

Abrasion Resistant Conveyor Belting

Conveyor belting designed for the ultimate resistance to abrasion. Equivalent to high abrasion resistant covers with less abrasion loss, these conveyor belts are developed to assure you of the longest belt lifetime. The combination of high tenacity warp and weft provides technical low-stretch, high impact abuse resistance. Recommended for transporting abrasive materials, such as glass, cullet, granite, trap rock, etc.
