Conveyor belt maintenance methods
Conveyor belts in use and storage should be kept clean to avoid direct sunlight or rain and snow, prevent contact with acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents and other substances, and one meter away from the heating unit outside.
When you save the storage temperature should be maintained at between18-40℃, relative humidity should be maintained between 50-80℃。
During the period of preservation, conveyor belts must be placed into a roll, not folded, during the placement, the conveyor belts should be quarterly turn once.
Different types, specification, layers of conveyor belts are unfavorable in the use together, the joint had better used glue connection method. Conveyor types, structure, size, number of layers should be selected according to the conditions of use reasonable.
Conveyor belt running speed is generally not more than 2.5m/sec. larger piceces, abrasion resistant materials and using fixed discharging devive should be use at low speed as far as possible.
Conveyor drive roller diameter and the relationship o conveyor belt layer, drive roller groove angle should be prescribed according to the design of conveyor ,resonable selection.
Feeding direction should be along the conveyor belt running direction, adopt chute to reduce the material falling on the impact of the conveyor belt , reduce material falling distance, conveyor belt material section should be shorten the roller spacing, using buffer roller for leakage. Belt adopt soft moderate keepoff plate, in order to avoid keep-off plate too hard , scraping the broken conveyor belt surface.
